The LX-5 outputs 2000 watts of power, what good does all that power do me?
Helps the IR perform its job but also improves signal to noise ratio and helps minimize distortion. Cleaner signal, and allows 12 levels of interference rejection.

What cone angles does the LX-5 have?
The LX-5 comes standard with a dual beam transducer. To switch between the 8 and 20 degree cone angle is as simple as the touch of a key.

What's True Color Display?
TrueColor is patent pending feature that incorporates three separate LED's. This in turn means no blending of colors and no blending of targets.  The colors are vivid and easy to distinguish. Very asy to distinguish target densities.

What's Super Fine Line?
SuperFine line changes the transmission pulse width and reduces the display band width and improves target separation to 3/4 of an inch in full screen display. The unit is very easy to read in any condition.

How long is the transducer cord?
8 Feet for the LX-5, LX-3tc and the LX-2. 5 feet for the LX-3 and LX-1..

Does the LX5 use more battery power than the LX3tc?
No they both use the same amount of battery power.

Does the LX5 need a suppression cable?
No suppression cable is needed. A perfectly matched receiver and transducer utilizing today's technology does not require the need for a suppression or lower power setting.

What is an LX-1?
An LX-1 has all the fish finding power of the LX-3 but you do not have an adjustable zoom feature, a weather resistant soft pack or a three stage charging system with LCD display.

What is an LX-i?
The LX-i is the most advanced hand held sonar ever made. This unit allows you to take depth readings right through the ice. Just hold it on the ice and take a reading. Your depth will be displayed on the LCD. The LX-i has 2500 watts of power. The unit is so accurate that you can take readings to 299 feet down to a tenth of a foot.

Why does the LX-3 use 1500 watts of power?
The power on the LX-3 allows for superior target separation. In particular the units are incredible in very deep and very shallow water. The power allows the unit to identify very small lures in very deep water. Because of the 1500 watts of power the LX-3 can identify fish in heavy cover too. The LX-3 identifies the fish and the weeds separately. Shallow water performance does not require a suppression cable or low power switch. Superior design equals superior performance. The 1500 watts of power also allow you to see fish on the outer edge of the cone better than lower powered models. The 1500 watts of power allow you to identify more fish. In summary more power properly utilized can provide less distortion, better target definition, improved sensitivity and less distortion. The quality of the design and the components is the difference. If you need additional information please send us an email your question to csr@marcumcustmerservice.com

How is the VS 500 different from the competition?
The VS 500 offers superior lighting options, a motorized steering function with on screen display, a charging port, a video output jack a collapsible viewing shroud and a weather resistant soft pack. When ice fishing you can operate the VS 500 up to 15 feet from the monitor. You can view in 360-degrees with the touch of a button with the VS 500. The on-screen display on the VS 500 allows you to see which direction the lens is pointed and how much battery power you have with the touch of a button. The VS 500 has RCA video output so you can record the video with a video camera. By combining better lighting options with the 360-degree viewing feature and the on-screen directional pointer the VS 500 will allow you to fish the right area faster and easier than the competitors. When ice fishing this also means drilling fewer holes. A bonus for everyone on the water! If you need additional information please send us an email your question to csr@marcumcustmerservice.com
